"About 2 years ago, I purchased a pistol because I wanted to be a better protector for my family, and started training with an instructor in Lubbock, Raymond Witham. Raymond gave me a really good foundation on weapons handling and with my pistol work. From there, I started getting interested in tactical training for home defense and being a better protector, so I spent time with a couple of other instructors who trained in those areas. From there I decided I wanted to start competing to put some of those skills to use. Training for the Tactical Games and doing some 2-gun competitions grew out of the desire to better myself and test myself under duress"
