This custom made computer came into the shop because it wouldn't boot up. Custom rigs are often built for gaming, and can represent 100's of hours of worker from their owner.
We have a checklist and go thru them piece by piece. Got a few more things to test, but pretty sure the Motherboard is blown. Probably overheated and melted some small components.

For , we wanted to share our stories of the oldest technology we've had the privilege of working with!
This week, we start with some that was brought in by a customer. While in the middle of moving, our customer came across these items alongside some older phones. She brought these to us to recover whatever data we could gather and then recycle.
Long story short, we were successful in recovering the data from the floppy disks, in addition to all the other devices the client brought to us!

Our Story
Umer Perez returned from Silicon Valley to Fort Worth in 2002. The Dot Com bubble burst, and 911 meant that the hot market in Silicon Valley was cooling off.
In the wake of the Dot Com bust, he formed a small consulting business. Using the skills he had developed in the heart of Silicon Valley, he began helping small businesses with their IT needs. As a system admin, and Network developer, there were many small businesses who needed help setting up, and maintaining their IT.
Going into small businesses, he was asked if he could do computer repairs. Individuals would approach him saying āIād be happy to pay you if you could repair my personal laptop.ā He found himself picking up laptops at gas stations, and along the side of the road. As his commercial business increased, and he supported more businesses, he found his laptop repair business also grew.
Tech Support MS was born. After one too many evenings dropping off a newly repaired laptop to a desperate single Mom at the side of the road, Umer decided that he needed to provide a safer place for his customers.
Over the years, the market has grown. Laptops became smart phones, and now iPads. Gaming consoles also walk in the doors at Tech Support.
The commercial business has grown to include residential services. House calls, and onsite services are paired up with Laptop repairs, and cracked cellphones. Everything with a mother board is fair game for repair.

Warranties and Fees:
All work performed is warranted. In fact our warranty includes additional repairs that may come up like disconnected network drives or printer connections. A lot of stuff consumers don't know to ask about. We will repair your laptop then after you get it home call us for up to 30 days for all the free remote support you need.
If you need a price for screen replacement or extensive work we will need to tear down your computer to get a lot of those prices so what we do is charge a discovery of $68.00.
