Meet Kenneth and Donna
September is Fall Prevention Awareness Month, a time to educate our community on preventing accidents and improving mobility and strength. Our Area Agency on Aging of Tarrant County (AAATC) understands the importance of preventing falls and injuries, especially for our older population. That's why we're proud to offer no-cost home modifications, such as grab bars and ramps, to ensure their safety and well-being. We were there for Tarrant County resident Kenneth Fable after he suffered from heat stroke during last summer's heat wave. He now relies on a walker to get around and needed help making his home safe to live in again. Kenneth and his wife Donna leaned on the AAATC to help make the necessary home modifications. Hear their story below. #AreaAgencyOnAging #GetUnited #UWTarrant
