New painting in progress…
I started this painting yesterday. I was inspired by the pose and the expression. I like to capture the beauty of a human being, the master creation on earth made in God’s image and likeness. Let me know who wants first dibs on it!
I am open to your suggestions as to what name to give it 🤔🎨
it is an original oil painting on linen, and it will come with a nice black frame. It measures 24 x 20 inches.
I have studied the masters of painting history and one that has inspired me to paint this one with heavy textures is Antonio Mancini. if you have time, check out some of his work on Google. He was one of the best painters in history.
This month’s broadcast highlights the 23rd Psalm. How comforting it is to reflect upon this in view of so many pressures in today’s world!
A while back I did this painting. It is not the one in the governing body room. But it follows a similar composition. Every element in it is different. In fact, used myself as the model for the shepherd😊.
Prints up to 30 x 40 inches are now available

This is the early stage of a painting. Monochrome means one color, in this case burnt umber on a tone canvas. I really like this subject matter!
This is a painting that I just started today. I really like the subject. A shepherd caring for his sheep.

Mancini was a fabulous painter. I particularly love his use of textures in his realism

I like to capture the beauty of all races and cultures since we are all one family on the face of the Earth that God created. I look forward to the time when all peoples will dwell together in unity.

This portrait was painted around the year 2005 in New York. The young model was a natural. He just suddenly struck that pose and it was perfect.
If you are interested in a portrait, please contact me. I am accepting commissions.
There were also women looking from afar off
by Vasili Dmitrievich Polenov
(Russian: Васи́лий Дми́триевич Поле́нов;
1 June 1844 – 18 July 1927)
This painting is full of emotion and puts us at the scene:
Mark 15:40,41 “There were also women watching from a distance, among them Mary Magʹda·lene as well as Mary the mother of James the Less and of Joʹses, and Sa·loʹme, who used to accompany him and minister to him when he was in Galʹi·lee, and many other women who had come up together with him to Jerusalem.”
As we continue in our Memorial Bible reading, let us visualize and meditate on the greatest act of love on our behalf.
As we mentally prepare for the memorial of Christ’s death, let us also remember that the first 3 chapters of the Bible explain Jehovah God’s purpose for humans, but how it was temporarily sidetracked by a rebellion. And the last 3 chapters of the Bible show how Jehovah will restore all things through Christ. And everything in between show what our loving Heavenly Father has been doing to develop his divine purpose of which we all can have a part of.
Enjoy your memorial!
