PR SHOWCASE: Eclipse in The Garden 🌞🌑
This past week, the Fort Worth Botanic Garden (FWBG) hosted more than 2,000 people for their "Eclipse in the Garden" event. In addition to offering unobstructed sky/eclipse views, community science activities/activations, and food trucks, the FWBG partnered with NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and Lighthouse for the Blind of Fort Worth to provide LightSound devices for visually impaired attendees in attendance. Our PR team was tasked to get the attention of TV news crews, and we delivered -- arranging both preview segments during the week leading up to the eclipse, and live, day-of segments on WFAA , CBS News Texas, and more!

'From Here, Anywhere' 🦅 🎓

We are excited to unveil our collaboration with Make Something Beautiful to highlight Fort Worth Country Day's video campaign for the 'Falcon Flight Path.' We sat down with Make Something Beautiful filmmakers and brought to life multiple FWCD Alums' journeys to success. The Falcon Flight Plan exercises the foundation in grades 5-12.

FWCD challenges students to spread their wings in academics, arts, and athletics to gain responsibility and independence. Past alums share that FWCD goes beyond academics. Students practice essential life skills, including organization, self-discipline, and empathy. FWCD students learn to self-advocate and balance multiple subjects, extracurricular activities, and social commitments while fostering practical time management skills and gaining confidence and leadership skills to bring into their adult lives. Thank you to the FWCD Alums for allowing us to share your stories!
