After our trip to Scotland, I am slowly getting back into the swing of things! First up, is Denver and Jessica's beautiful wedding at Knotting Hill Place. It POURED SIDEWAYS most of the day, but we had a little break in the rain and were able to run out for some photos around their gorgeous grounds.

Good morning! I don't even remember the last time I posted a photo on this page that wasn't of a client, but this morning, hubs came and got me when he saw this little cicada coming out of his shell (he was out by the time I ran out there). He’s actually pretty cute, so I thought I would share! I was pretty shocked since I haven't heard a single one screaming to its people this year!

First, I just grabbed my cell, but since he decided to hang out with us, I went and grabbed my real camera. As good as phone cameras have gotten, they still aren't the real deal... but, usually the best camera is the one ya got on ya! But, since I happen to have both, here's a little comparison for you. 105 macro on the left, cell on the right.

A few days ago, one of my sweet friends tied the knot at the gorgeous Butterfly House in Fair Park. I love small, intimate weddings, and this one was no exception. They were surrounded by their closest family and friends. Here's a few of my favorite portraits!

I was so excited to hear from Madison about her upcoming wedding! Her and her fiance, Tanner were finally tying the knot!
I actually shot her high school senior photos around a decade ago! She's getting married at Trickle Creek Events, one of my favorite venues, with Something-Blue Weddings. Dream team!

We got rained out three times, but finally went for it, and I'm so glad we did!

Love is in the air! 💕 Elliot and Peter tied the knot at the modern and beautiful in downtown Dallas. Their love story is a true inspiration and we were honored to be a part of their special day. ⁠

Ok, soooo, I may have been at Trickle Creek Events events a lot lately! I love it! I love seeing every couple's vision at this gorgeous place! Ethan and Maygan tied the knot here a couple weekends ago and it was just the sweetest day! I loved how they involved their kids (and can I say these four kids are amazing humans??)

I am sharing just a "few" of their great moments now, but sooo many more that need more "background" to tell the story that will have to wait for the blog. And, if all goes right, the rest of this gallery will be going home in just the next couple of days!
