Who is ready for some football prep?! Coach Charles Milton has been with Jody's Gym for 10+ years and has been coaching at LCCS - Lake Country Christian School even longer, where he is the head middle school football coach , plus a varsity football coach. He is an alum of Southwest Christian School and played college football at Dordt University. Your 11–14-year-old athlete now has the opportunity to work with Coach Milton during our 2024 summer football readiness camps. Come to all or come when you can! Sorry for any inconvenience, but this is out of our control! Hopefully it will be restored quickly, since it controls the member door…

Most everyone is loving our 24/7 access, including us! We are going to put it to the test over the next couple of days... The front door will remain locked Thursday 3/2 until Charles comes, which will be no later than 3pm. Jody & Lynn will return late Friday afternoon, so the front door will be locked most of that day as well, so PLEASE remember to bring your key tag! We can’t quite open the front door yet, but made a good path to the member door! We are ready to get back to “normal”!

The only sketchy part of Lynn's drive in was Stadium Dr and our parking lot! She is there with a couple of brave members who came in with their key tags, but it was SLICK just trying to walk (skate/slide!) to the door... C'mon rising temps!

Jody is taking a stay-cation this week, and everyone has been very understanding and things have been running smoothly. Until this morning... The gym internet must have gone down at some point overnight, and the gym door app stopped working 😫 Luckily, I can check it from home and got to the gym as soon as I could, but I'm NOT used to seeing the gym so empty! Also, I now see what Jody meant by some "after-hours" members just leaving things laying around - not cool, lol!

Lynn is holding her breath because T-Mobile wifi has been working for a solid 14+ hours now... Do NOT be like Lynn - breathe! Talk with Jody or Charles to get more tips on breathing techniques while working out 💪

Our last call to T-Mobile, the recording told us the wait would be about five minutes... Forty-two minutes later, I was told that there was an issue in our area, which we already knew because at least four members told us of their recent problems too. Sometimes we have to reset the modem after 10 minutes, sometimes 10 hours - there seems to be no rhyme or reason for it. The rep asked us to give them another week (which seems FOREVER in this day & age) before we changed internet providers, as they are "working on it". We know that it is frustrating for a member who is just trying to take advantage of our new 24/7 benefit, and then not be able to get in. Multiply that by 1,000 and that is our frustration level right now, lol! Thanks for your understanding and patience ✌️

We said no more tricks! Our internet has been spotty over the last few days, and this is how it makes Lynn feel, LOL! If your key tag does not work immediately at the "member" door, just come on in the front door. For "after hours" work outs, please bear with us until our provider can figure out what is going on - thank you!

We have been struggling with the key tags not working as well as we expected, and now we know why... A reprint of the tags has been ordered and we will reissue them as soon as they come in. EDIT: She wasn't chipped, but our vet loaned Lynn a leash & after walking the nearby neighborhood for over an hour, she found her way home! We aren't too confident in the owner's fence though, so she may come back to visit sometime... Thanks for sharing for us!

We found this dog in our parking lot & have safe for now, but we can't keep here... Is someone in the neighborhood looking for this sweet, loving dog?!
