Have you heard friends gush about how relaxed yoga makes them feel? How they can release some of that habitual tension from their shoulders by the end of class? They invite you to come with them but then you think- I'm not flexible, I don't know the names of the poses, what are the rules. Stop. We've got you. 🧦 Do I wear socks to class? 🧦 Good question! And the answer is- it’s complicated. In yoga class most people practice barefoot. This helps you feel connected to the ground beneath you without extra barriers. In Pilates mat classes socks are a personal choice. Some people like to keep them on, some people wear grippy socks, and others go barefoot. In Pilates Reformer classes socks are required. And preferably the grippy kind so you don’t slip. This is because your feet are all over the studio reformers and not just your personal mat. Think flip flops in a public shower. 😉 If you’re wearing socks grippy socks are best. All our clubs have some for purchase but you can also get cheap ones on Amazon or buy ones with fun designs to make a statement. ❤️
