Hi! Just released my Bald Eagle from captivity - he's the latest FREE My Crochet Chums pattern.

The Bald Eagle is about 17 cm (6.5in) tall when made with 4ply cotton on a 2mm hook. I used Scheepjes Catona cotton - just SO lovely to work with.

In the photos below, my customer wanted a light-weight throw for the beach. Instead of flannel, she selected a flat bed sheet to use for the backing (photo bottom left).

These are my last two projects. The one on the left was a group of 7 chairs that my friend painted (CustoMary is her business name) and I did the seat cushions. The blue rocker cushions were for my long-time friend Amanda. That rocker got a promotion to be used downstairs in her gathering room! These pieces make me happy. Just so much fun to make people smile!

This is the prototype for custom chair covers we are making for my neighbor. Started with a pattern for a Parson's chair and modified it to include the arms.

So thrilled to complete these custom cushions for Patricia Gettys' son and daughter-in-law. The fabric was chosen for durability and for use on their screen porch. Applied Scotch Guard for stain resistance. The colors are wonderful. Hope they will enjoy!
