Never gets old:TURP

Don’t feed into the hustle culture. Don’t feed into the “you’ve got to grind.” You can still be successful, make good money, and love what you do without having to break your back or hurt others in the process. We live in a society and culture that preaches “GO HARD AND DO YOU.” I’m all about working hard, but not at the expense of important relationships and my mental health. You can still build a successful business and have a healthy balance of freedom and time outside of it. Being “rich” is not just money. You can work hard and hustle to grow your millions, but if you don’t have your family whole in your relationships intact outside of that, it’s means nothing. I have to reign myself in from time to time. I used to envision myself being one of those online gurus who walks across the stage, does all these live events, put on this giant production in my business, and is known for being “that girl.” Having a kid changed everything for me. The most important thing in my life is my child and my marriage. Those are the people that will have my back and fill my cup in more ways than any business ever will. Yes, I want to generate income so we can have more freedom to do the things that we love and be able to give more freely, but being intentional about balance is so important. I never fed into the lie that you have to create a big production, put on your make up every day, and be on your a game at all times. That is freaking exhausting even just writing that out. I’ve been in this game long enough to let you guys know that a giant production and looking good and every area of your life online is not a prerequisite for success. I’ve built this business from scratch barely showing my face, and the times that I do, I’m typically in a beanie with unbrushed hair, and no make up on. People crave authenticity these days. And at the end of the day, people just want solutions to their problems. They don’t care too much about what you look like, they just want you to help them achieve what they need. Be mindful of that and whatever your goals are. You don’t have to hustle and grind to be successful.
