See you at the Framingham Farmer's Market today (Thursday July 25th) from 3-7 pm.
We've had some special cakes over the past few weeks, including a wedding cake, a sailing theme, a rainbow, and a golf theme.
Olive bread 2 ways: fougasse for those who like lots of crust; loaf for those who prefer the soft inside with less crust. Oil cured and kalamata olives in our European style sourdough wheat.
Heading for the Framingham Farmer's Market Thursday afternoon.
Thursday morning breads are baked and being packaged for today's Framingham Farmer's Market . Of course, we'll keep a bunch here at the Ashland bakery for those who prefer to shop in air-conditioned comfort.
We can also take loaves to our Framingham Dulce D Leche for pickup if you ask us to (please call the Ashland store to arrange).
Today's roster:
San Fracisco sourdough
Classic European style sourdough with coarse-groynd wheat.
Multigrain and seeds sourdough
Tart cherry and pecan sourdough
20% extra sharp cheddar bread
Focaccia topped with Italian herbs or everything bagel topping
And, a special a special limited addition:
Provoleta: San Francisco sourdough with extra sharp provolone, oregano, smoked Chilli and garlic powder. This is inspired by an Argentinean appetizer Sam used to have me make by grilling aged provolone with oregano and spreading the gooey mess over sourdough bread.
New for our Farmer's Markets this weekend: focaccia with baked olive-oil-roated red onions and garlic. Awesome infused taste.
Don't want to wait for the farmers markets? They're fresh out of the oven and ready in Ashland now.
Our awesome friend Albie from heard that I was closing Ashland early to bbq with Kieran and Ryan tonight, so she dropped by and gifted us a few Bifa de Tira (Argentinean style beef back ribs to be salted and cooked on the parilla).
Any time Sam and I were in Argentina or an Argentinean restaurant, she would make these wound up on our platter (alng with Bifa de Chorizo and Baby pig)
Incidentally, you can find a selection of empanadas by Che at our Ashland location, and you can find our alfajores at her empanada shops in Worcester and Newton.
....and let's not forget about strawberry cheesecake.

This is one of our favorite annual events. Sunshine Farm will have tons of these sweet delicious beauties for your snacking pleasure! Dulce d Leche is tempting us with delectable Strawberry Shortcakes, Strawberry-Rhubarb pie, and Strawberry Cupcakes with Tahitian vanilla buttercream. Elizabeth’s Custom Bakes will have baskets of berries (sugar cookies) and her signature cupcakes, including yummy Strawberry crunch cake. Plus a fun ‘Paint your own cookie’ item for the kids!

Happy Father's Day all. It's an evening with my boys where I can be grateful to my rich experiences with Argentinean friends teaching me to cook fatty cuts of meat with salt over hardwood coals...and of course Sam for inspiring me to build this Parilla to cook for our wedding guests. The hardware store in Buenos Aires faxed me dimensions for the fire box, and I had it ready to cement in the metal parts when Sam's mom arrived with them a week before our wedding. I don't get to use it nearly often as intended anymore, but it's held up well over the past 11 years. The love affair with food started long before Dulce was conceived and continues with everything me and my boys create.

Small part of a large catering breakfast order delivered this morning. Sadly, we were too busy to take pictures of the rest of the order....60 breakfast sandwiches, a fruit platter, blueberry Danish, Media Lunas, factura con dulce de leche, and slices of lemon and cinnamon cakes....oh, and mini cinni's with vanilla buttercream.

Fresh bread coming up for Saturday morning at Dulce Ashland!
The San Francisco sourdough sold out really fast last Saturday, so we doubled the batch size this week. We're also adding our herb-topped focaccia and sourdough with tart cherries and pecans to the lineup.
The Saturday morning breads are out of the oven and ready at Dulce D Leche Ashland.
Needed yellow tulips for a cake today, so I broke out Sam's Russian piping tips for the first time since she's been gone. She loved the flowers these made. I think she'd be happy with the results..
Still not sure what to serve for brunch on Mother's Day? We have fresh quiche Lorraine and quiche with cheddar and roasted broccoli & onion. Currently in Ashland but we can take some to Framigham if requested before 4 pm.
Oh, and grab a loaf of fresh artisan bread while you're here: baguettes, cheddar bread, Sour dough, San Francisco Sourdough, multigrain & seed, or cardamom brioche.
