We love our camp counselors!
Being a camp counselor involves teamwork. Gaining skills and experience working with a team is one of the reasons we love working at camp!
Every Tuesday from now until the first day of camp, we will be celebrating all of the reasons we love being camp counselors!
We're starting off by highlighting how much fun it is! We love getting to spend our summer outside participating in sports and games, arts and crafts, swimming, and more! Work is a lot more fun when being silly is a part of the job!
It's Thursday! This week we are missing our counselors!
The MetroWest YMCA counselors help make every day at camp special. Which is why every Tuesday until camp we're going to be sharing reasons we love being camp counselors!
Do you know someone who would make a great camp counselor? Visit our website today to find out how you or someone you know could be a part of our incredible camp family! https://www.metrowestymca.org/employment-0
Who do you recognize?
Do you recognize these faces? YMCA camp leaders excel at creating safe, inclusive spaces for kids to explore interests and develop new skills. Last month, our team went to the New England American Camp Association Conference to connect with peers and learn new strategies for positive camper engagement, parent support, delivering enriching activities, and fostering an environment that nurtures the well-being of both campers and staff!
We can't wait for this summer! Will we see you there?
