Happy February! Hope you are healthy and happy! I’m on day two of some sort of cold, or flu or something. Kicking my tail! Ha! Anyone else have this crazy stuff? I’m ready for it to be gone!

Posting on social media is tough, I sometimes spend too much time curating the image to post that I say, “oh forget it”and then don’t post at all? Do you do the same?

Wanted to share a project I completed in January with a client that I’ve worked with before. John asked me to help him brand his new venture called Bookmatched This was such a fun project and I learned SOO much about different types of wood and furniture, absolutely fascinating!

Taking photos in a hospital is an honor, but can also be tricky. Decorum and privacy are paramount. I really enjoyed the opportunity to photograph Dr.S as she was the featured doctor in a local medical professionals publication.

Sometimes I have the amazing opportunity to photograph in a hospital setting. Doctors, nurses and all who work in a hospital are heroes in my book, before Covid, during Covid (especially) and after.

Brian & Jennifer] asked me to create a logo that would not only be immediately recognizable as a landscape business, but also a logo that would be functional, beautiful and timeless. Jenn also wanted to incorporate a magnolia flower in the design.

I love the logo that made the final cut. It’s simple yet bold, easy to recognize, timeless and there is even a magnolia flower at the center. Win win!

Website almost complete! Just some tweaks and it should be ready to GO! Yaasss!! Beautiful, clean, simple and clear design is always my goal.

Love the way branding came out. Gorgeous color palette with yummy colors of caramel, charcoal and midnight. Elegant font choices and photography that is not only useful, and effective, but also beautiful and timeless.

Branding photography is one of my FAVE parts of my job. I’ve been a photographer since 2009, but I’ve always had a camera close-by since my Dad gave me my first camera when I was 16.

Why do I love photography, and especially branding photography? I love to capture stories visually. Little visual capsules that share a vision, a theme, an idea, a moment…a movement. Branding photos (especially if YOU are your brand) are absolutely paramount to share the story of your brand. Your clients want to know the person behind your brand. Right? We all love the behind the scenes.

Isn’t beautiful? We captured multiple poses and multiple outfits to create a collection of images Lisa can use not only for social media but also for marketing/advertising materials.

My most recent project has been so much fun. My client has been an absolute joy to work with. had such great ideas for her branding, color palette, and photography.

At first I designed the logo with different icons in the middle of the TESTS letters and Lisa had an epiphany of an idea of using mathematical symbols (+, -, x,) instead! So perfect since she is the Math guru! Teamwork definitely makes the dream work.
