We checked into the hospital @ 5 am. Just in time to watch the sunrise poke through Nashville’s skyscrapers. I cried, so many emotions.
This would be a sunrise to mark the end of an era. I found pregnancy to be very uncomfortable, but in that exact moment I was scared to start a whole new chapter in this book we’re writing. 19 hours later my son was born, and the new chapter began. 🕊️

If you’re going to get naked for someone, you better feel comfortable with them right? Lol. 🫣

Working with a photographer who naturally makes you feel comfortable in your uncomfortable skin is key, and of course their photography and editing skills. I worked with creating a portfolio of maternity photos and was vulnerable, wearing next to nothing in sheer robes and tight body suits. My point is, I never thought twice about her judging my ever changing body. She made me feel so confident in front of the camera, and because of that the photos came out beautifully 🥹
