🤩 ⭐️ Check out a sneak peek at our new blaze pods that are coming to the clinic! ⭐️ ‼️ Danielle is demonstrating their use for upper extremity but these are also very useful for the lower extremity when used on the ground or mounted on cones. Blaze pods can help improve reaction time and dual task training which is important in preventing injuries in athletes and reducing fall risk in patients with decreased balance. Blaze pods also have benefits for power and agility and make rehab more exciting and engaging!

Thanks for sharing your positive experience with your foot + ankle rehab! Keep up the good work!

Are you walking enough? Just three short 10 minute walks a day has MUCH more benefits than most people think - besides just burning calories. Studies have shown that these walks help improve overall brain function, improve bone health, ease depression, improve insulin response, better digestion, lower blood pressure, lower cholesterol, improve cardiovascular health, and aid in recovery from other forms of exercise. Improving in these areas will increase your lifespan, decrease risk of disease, improve sport performance, work or school performance and give you more energy to do the things you love to do. Shorter, more frequent walks are proven to be much more effective than going for one long walk and being sedentary the rest of the day. Breaking up your exercise into shorter bouts throughout the day will help improve your overall adherence. For example, it is more feasible for most people to sneak in a quick walk before work, at lunch, and after dinner as opposed to one chunk of the day. If you need help creating a walking program, or are looking for strength exercises to help improve and support your walking give us a call!
