Just had them remove a bad upstairs 50gal unit, combine the two circuits (left&right), and installed an awesomely efficient 75 gal powervent unit in the basement. They went above and beyond to remedy a multitude of issues resulting from a previous poor home remodel. This is the 2nd time I've used them now in the last two years (2 different houses) and am super stoked to give this crew a positive review. I'm pretty selective and demanding while working with contractors as I worked in that world my entire career. These guys have found and employ the perfect customer service experience that will exceed your exceptions. With my first call I spoke with Eric. He was very friendly and helpful and I felt understood my hot water tank situation and my desire to have a quality inspection and service. I admit I did think "why am I not talking to the switchboard operator like you normally do with service groups, how did they get this guy who is on the mark to answer the phone?" Well it turned out that Eric is the owner, that was very comforting yet surprising. I then talked to Michael and we set up an appointment for the very next morning. That was good surprise #2. The next morning Steve showed up 4 minutes before our scheduled 8 am appointment! Another successful surprise! And here is where it really went from great to outstanding! Steve was everything you would desire for a service guy. Very clean, courteous, listened intently as I explained the situation, very sharp technically. Within minutes he was hard at work assessing the problem and getting results. He was very careful that he didn't cause a mess, and when he did drop water on the floor he cleaned it up immediately. Stellar! I've been told that I am hard to please, but Steve exceeded my expections! When he finished, he made sure everything was put back in place as it was before he arrived, and that I was happy with everything. He asked me how I was going to pay and I thought "okay, here goes the high charge and I'm going to fall off this high that I am on." BUT NO, when he told me the amount due (very reasonable for this level of service) I quickly pulled out my credit card and paid him on the spot (another nice procedure that eliminates any further work for the customer). When he left, I came in the house and told my wife about the experience and she said "you normally don't have a smile on your face when workers leave". She's absolutely correct. I will call Hot Water Pros if I have any future problems and will recommend them highly to anyone who can benefit from their level of service! Great Job Gentlemen!"
