Remembering Alacrino Dias - A Beloved Family Member and Employee

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved family member and employee, Alacrino Dias. Alacrino has been a vital part of the Franklin Pizza & Deli family for the past 13 years, and his presence and contributions have left a lasting impact on all of us.

Alacrino was not just an employee; he was a special person who brought joy, dedication, and kindness to our workplace every day. His hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to go above and beyond for the team and our customers made him an invaluable member of our family. Alacrino presence brightened our days and made Franklin Pizza & Deli a better place.

His passing leaves a void that cannot be filled, and he will be deeply missed by all of us. We will always remember Alacrino for his warmth, his laughter, and his unwavering commitment to excellence in everything he did. His legacy of hard work, kindness, and camaraderie will continue to inspire us as we move forward without him.

As we mourn the loss of Alacrino , let us also celebrate the time we were fortunate enough to spend with him and the memories we shared. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and loved ones during this difficult time.

Rest in peace our Brother Alacrino. You will always have a special place in our hearts.

We will be closing Friday May 10 at 4pm to attend services as a family to pay our respects.

Franklin Pizza & Deli is mourning the loss of a very dear friend and colleague whom we lost last evening.
Alacrino (Alex) was one of our full time delivery drivers for over 12 years. He was one of our most dedicated employees who never missed a day of work. He assisted with the daily prep- making salads, shredding cheese, rolling dough balls or you could find him in his favorite place- at the sink; doing dishes. While he loved being at the store, Alacrino received the most joy delivering to our customers everyday open to close. His humor was one of a kind and his laugh was contagious. He cared for everyone and was a true pleasure to be with. He was the “go to” for a smile on the tough days. He didn’t have to try hard - making us laugh with silly nicknames (nice ones and some maybe not so nice - in Portuguese of course, but always followed by a joking smile). His Portuguese flare certainly lit up any room he walked into. He had no problem inserting himself in the kitchen. Showing us how to cook- whether it was sweet potatoes or plantains. Always offering a taste of his masterpiece.
There are no words on how heartbroken we are and how much he will be missed.
Alacrino, May you Rest in Peace. We love you always❤️ Our heartfelt condolences are with your family during this time.
