Join WNC Pharoahs and the Town of Franklin for a Trunk or Treat this Saturday, October 28th, from 4pm to 6pm. WNC Pharoahs will be on Iotla Street and the Town of Franklin will be at the Gazebo on the Square with Angel Medical Center and others.

Please note that Main Street will not be closed, participants will have to stay in the sidewalks. We hope to see you Saturday!!

Here are the winners and some of the scenes from the 27th Annual PumpkinFest Costume Contest. It is truly great fun for all ages! Special thanks to all who participated and our emcee extraordinaire, Franklin Fire Chief Ben Ormond for doing an excellent job as always.

The Town of Franklin congratulates young miss Clara Crone (age 3) on claiming the 2023 Pumpkin Roll Winner's Trophy and $100. Clara's pumpkin traveled a distance of 942 feet!!

We thank Motor Co. Grill and Crabtree General Store for sponsoring this year's World Famous Pumpkin Roll and the hundreds and hundreds of you that rolled and watched on as the good times rolled in downtown Franklin!

Join us this Saturday, October 21st for the 27th Annual PumpkinFest in Downtown Franklin! Presented by the Town of Franklin, this year's event is co-sponsored by Angel Medical Center, Beasley Flooring Products, Motor Co. Grille, Crabtree General Store and our newest cosponsor for 2023, Highlander Roofing Services. PumpkinFest is held rain or shine from 9 am to 4 pm with plenty of free parking in the downtown area.

PumpkinFest is coming this Saturday featuring over 100 vendor spaces!! You'll find dozens and dozens of arts & crafts vendors and great festival food! Many of our local non-profits will be there and each will have a FREE kid's activity for your children to enjoy. It is a great day of family fun, rain or shine, during the 27th Annual PumpkinFest this Saturday, October 21st from 9 am to 4pm.

Young ones will enjoy all the FREE activities during PumpkinFest this Saturday, October 21st! There will be free pony rides, a free balloon artist and much more, Also, each of our sponsors and non-profit vendors will have a free kids activity! And don't forget the two Kids Zones featuring free inflatables for them to work off a bit of energy! Hours for PumpkinFest are from 9 am to 4pm, rain or shine, with plenty of free parking in Downtown Franklin.

Let the good times roll this Saturday during the 27th Annual PumpkinFest! The World Famous Pumpkin Roll is the centerpiece event and is sponsored this year by Motor Company Grill & Crabtree General Store.

Sign up for the Pumpkin Roll is from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with the actual “roll” from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

- Entry Fee is $1 person.

- You may bring your own pumpkin -or- we will also have a supply of about 500 for purchase at the sign-up area

- Pumpkins must be in their natural state and may not be modified to enhance rolling or to keep from "pieing".

Don't miss the Annual Costume Parade & Contest during PumpkinFest, coming this Saturday, October 21st. Participants gather at Town Hall at 1:00pm and march up Main Street at 1:15pm to the Gazebo on the Square for the Contest.

Entrants are accepted in the following age groups .... 0 to 2, 3 to 4, 5 to 6, 7 to 10, 11 to 14, 15 & up! Trophies are awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd Place in each age group. There is no entry fee or registration required.

We've had some great costumes over the years and it is great fun for everyone!!

This Saturday from 4:00 to 6:00pm, join the Streets of Franklin Heritage Association, Franklin Fire & Rescue, and Pharoah's of WNC Trunk or Treat for the Annual Monster Mash!! This downtown Franklin event is a great and safe way for your youngsters to trick or treat!

Then at 7:00pm the Town of Franklin along with Ruby Cinemas will present Monster Mash Movie Night featuring the original and cult classic, "Hocus Pocus" at 7:00 pm. This is a free outdoor movie to be shown the lower level parking area at Town Hall (95 East Main Street, Franklin, NC 28734). Bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy! It will be a fun evening for all ages!!

The Town Franklin congratulates Whitney Warren, the 2022 Pumpkin Roll winner! Whitney's pumpkin rolled 887 feet! Over 600 people rolled pumpkins during the event. Following the PumpkinFest Costume Contest, many merchants in downtown Franklin will have free treats for kids from 3:00pm to 4:00pm. Just look for the posters in the windows!

One of the main attractions of PumpkinFest is the World Famous Pumpkin Roll! We're pleased to welcome new sponsors for this year's event ... Motor Company Grill and Crabtree General Store! Folks come from all over for a chance to win the $100 cash prize for rolling a pumpkin the greatest distance. It only costs $1 to enter and a limited number of pumpkins will be available for purchase at $5 each. Feel free to bring your own if you like!

This year PumpkinFest in Franklin, NC is taking you back!! One of the many great photo opportunities is a Back to the Future DeLorean replica and its eccentric scientist inventor! This attraction will be located on the square in downtown Franklin and is absolutely FREE!

Franklin's PumpkinFest features great fun for all ages! Don't miss the annual Costume Contest open to all ages, an expanded Kids Zone in the lower level parking area of Town Hall for younger kids, FREE pony rides, FREE balloon artist and so much more!
