Franklin Educational Foundation

The best opportunities start with a quality education. We need your help to expand the boundaries of education.

Since 1996, our foundation has provided over $1,400.000 of new opportunities for students in the Franklin Public Schools. Individual and Business Partners help us in many ways to carry out our mission and to serve the students in the Franklin School District. Through our relationships with our Partners, we can build an alliance to help the Franklin Educational Foundation reach into the business community. Donations from both individuals and businesses are critical to our success.

Here's the best cup of coffee and a delicious muffin prepared by our young student entreprenurs in Franklin’s Transition Services group! On Tuesday mornings they host a little coffee shop at the ECC Admin Building and sell baked goods, coffee and tea to staff. Proceeds go to support their business and classroom needs.

Through public donations from friends like you, the Foundation has provided grants for an AED machine for their training apartment/classroom, furniture and more. The Transition Services team does a fantastic job preparing our 18-21 year-old students with special needs for independence and neccessary life skills. Check out their page to learn more about it!

We had almost 200 participants, and over 30 vendors, donors, and sponsors participate in Saturday's Franklin Fun Run at Froemming Park! While the day started off a little chilly, families and community members had a great time meeting new businesses and community organizations, enjoying a free breakfast and custard courtesy of Sendiks, Culvers, Einstein's Bagels, and Mimosa's Breakfast and Brunch. Our Toddler Dash organized by the YMCA was filled with laughter and high energy and after our 1 mile and 5K walk/ run, participants were able to cool down with Yoga in the Park. We truly appreciated the entire Franklin Varsity Dance Team for volunteering!

Thank you to all the organizations who helped make this event possible! AND a SPECIAL thank you to Ashley Cornell for starting this run four years ago and chairing the event!

AND, as a fun incentive, we will be hosting a FPS challenge to see which school has the most students at the event. Last year several of our Phy Ed. teachers did a push up for every student who attended -- Mr. Blask and Mr. Bauer did a lot of push ups and were excited to see what the challenge will be this year.

At the registration table, FPS students who attend the run will receive a raffle ticket color coded to their school. One lucky student will receive Milkmen tickets@
