Taking your own engagement shots with a tripod and self timer really humbles you. At least I’ve been a fan of that “blurry candid” look this year.
Maybe next time I can get some & worthy shots.

An ode to the good dads 👏🏻👏🏻 went to a work function this weekend and there were so many precious moment like this. So refreshing to see a positive dad despite the popular narrative of checked out fathers.

I may have moved an hour away, but Frederick will always be near and dear to my heart. Yet today my heart breaks for everyone impacted by last night’s fire. & , please let me know if I can help in any way. These two businesses are part of the heart and soul of Downtown Frederick (and often stops for me when I’m downtown) & I couldn’t bare the thought of losing them. Sending good vibes to all involved.

Had quite the week last week & coming back to the office is bitter sweet. I missed my team & my second monitor, but boy howdy, does today feel long. ✨Hopefully your week is starting off well!

Break a Leg next weekend, Rory! Next weekend he will be auditioning for Romeo & Juliet & I’m so glad I got to help boost his resume with new headshots.

As some of you may know, photography is my side hustle/passion project, and while I love doing it, I also have a full time job working in marketing for a national interior subcontracting company. Earlier this week they took a chance on me after finding out I am a photographer and I was sent out to get pictures of one of our freshly completed projects. I was super nervous, but they've been well received by our corporate office (and they've blessed off on my use of them outside of the company) so I'm sharing them here.

This is the new E.A. IDEA Factory at the University of Maryland, a 5 story lab and engineering space.

DC Street Style pt.2!

I’ve always wanted to try my hand at street style shots and I’m so glad I did it. Even in a city as unflappable as DC (RIP Capitol Fox) it was still surprisingly intimidating pointing a camera at strangers on the street. I don’t love any of these shots but I’m still pretty proud of how they came out.
