Hopehill Women of Hope
We are to inspire, support, challenge & encourage one another in all things that honor the Lord Jesus
Praying for our single friends.
Everlasting Father, in moments of loneliness or doubt, remind us of Your promises. When the weight of singleness feels heavy, and the future seems uncertain, anchor our hearts in Your truths.
We know that everything, including this season of singleness, is part of Your grand design, and You make all things beautiful in Your time. Infuse our spirits with hope, knowing that You are preparing us for the chapters ahead, whether they involve singleness or marriage.
Let our trust not be in societal timelines or pressures but solely in Your sovereign plan. For in Your hands, our stories unfold with purpose, love, and grace.
Isaiah 40:31 But they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.
In Jesus name we pray, Amen

2023 Reflection will Help to Determine Your 2024 Direction
As you prepare to start a new year, take some time to reflect upon the blessings you received and the challenges and obstacles that you overcame.
Press the pause button and look back at what you did well and what didn't work out so well, then apply what you've learned toward your future goals.
And here are some examples of some things that you can ask yourself:
What did I learn most this year?
How have my strengths helped me to succeed?
What do I feel most proud of?
What could I have done differently?
What was most fulfilling and what was most frustrating?
What was the best thing you read, watched, or listened to over the past year?
Then set your goals.
Decide on one learning goal you seek to accomplish this coming year.
Choose one habit you will commit to improving or removing.
Find one way you can help someone else along the way.
Determine one mistake you won't make again.
Press pause more often and implement more self-care.
GM. Here is another thought from my Adonai. He is the air I breathe....What is more important? Bible Study or Prayer? Inhaling or Exhaling?
When you inhale, air enters your lungs, and oxygen from that air moves to your blood. At the same time, carbon dioxide, a waste gas, moves from your blood to the lungs and is exhaled. This process, called gas exchange, is essential to life.
Bible study is like inhaling and prayer is exhaling. Like air, if you are not taking in the Word, you become weak and unable to function properly, the exchange is limited. In order release the bad in our lives we must be intune with what God wants for us. Reading just enough to get through a situation is like putting a bandaid on an injury that needs stitches.
Reading +study+prayer will provide a proper exchange of what is essential to life, a personal relationship with the One that is life. Get to know Him better.
He is the God as close to you, as near to you as your own breath! He is the God in whom “we live and move and have our being” (Acts 17:28)
He is the air I breathe.

This will never get old because it will always be true!
Just thinking…let’s keep it real, the cost of food, bills and housing is outrageous. And as we approach Christmas, many are thinking about gift giving and the expense of it all. So, becoming overwhelmed about stuff that we think we need or need to buy is daunting and this should be the farthest thing from our minds with the sate of the economy. As in 2Kings 4:1-7, we find the widow in debt and saw no means of providing for her family. All she had was a jar of oil. When asked, "what do you have?" She did not see the value of what she already had. When she trusted God’s process, she filled jar after jar with the expensive oil from that one jar and she was overcome with blessings beyond measure.
We too must look at what we have instead of what we don’t. If we invest as much time and energy in thanksgiving & prayer as we do in complaining or seeking what we don't have, we too can be overcome with blessings. Stop, look at what you have instead of what you don’t. Even if you find yourself in lack of a need, He always makes a way, but you have to do your part.
Pray, be grateful, use wisdom, love one another and seek Him for guidance. Matthew 6:33 tells us, "But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.
Have a great day on purpose!
Sis. Angela

The Rice and the Walnuts...we had a blessed class and lunch with the ladies from HUMC and BUMC. In our last session we learned how to make room for what should be first and most important in life, Jesus! Pursuing wholeness means getting things in the right order. Here is a lesson we can learn from rice and walnuts.Matthew 6:33 "Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need."

In the times that we live the struggle is real but know God is with you through the struggle. Your struggle is yours for the purpose God has for you. Just as a butterfly seems to struggle to break free of the cocoon, you too will break free. You will be purified in your faith, your patience, and endurance. The test will not destroy you, but it will refine you. Stand on the Word and He will turn your adversities into opportunities.

Dear Lord, our Adonai,
I come thanking you for new day. I thank you for your grace and your new mercies, for the forgiveness of our sins. Lord, I pray that you cleanse our hearts and our minds, that you guard our hearts and guide our tongues. Give us peace that bypasses all understanding.
I thank you for being the shield in the midst of the storms that we face. Thank you for being El Roi the God that sees us for being El Shaddai, our promise keeper. Thank you for being in Yahweh Rapha, the one who heals us. Thank you for being Yahweh Yireh our provider and Yahweh Shalom-our peace.
Lord, I ask for divine intervention in our lives, in the turmoil of this world. You know what we need. I pray for peace, healing, and comfort. I pray for strength, courage and I pray for the redemption for those that don’t know You, that they will seek You like never before. I pray for a spiritual awakening throughout this world. I pray everyone who is yearning for guidance and understanding, drink from Your cup. John 4:14 says “But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again. The water that I will give him will become in him a spring of water welling up to eternal life.”
Soften our hearts and open our eyes to You. To whomever may read this, let this awakening begin with you. Speak a kind word, share the love of Christ and pray for one another.
In Jesus name, I pray, Amen.
