One of the things I've come to love most during my sessions is witnessing the unguarded moments when husbands look at their wives with such deep affection. It's that quick, fleeting glance that captures the larger story of their love, shared dreams, challenges overcome, and promises kept. A silent exchange that reminds me of the the beauty and depth found in true partnership.

The Brent Fam. | One of the many things I get to witness and capture with my lens is the beauty of strong families. The Brents do this for their children in their twenties, and they do this for their loved ones. And just look at them! They have a bond that will stand the test of time. It was an honor to capture them in all of their silliness, joy and big love they have for one another!

It's the black & whites for me. They're the last ones I fine-tune before I upload all the photos to my clients' galleries and I get excited to bless the people I worked so hard for! It feels like the grand finale every time.

The saying, "Chance favors the hard worker who refuses to give up" is an accurate depiction of my mother Melody and her horse, Chance. These pictures capture my 67-year-old mom, who is aging with grace, beauty and grit. She is my inspiration for loyalty, dedication, and a deep and radiant love that shines from within. She wanted this session so she could always remember the incredible bond she has with her horse, Chance, and I wanted this session so that I could always remember my mom this way.

I combed through and edited these pictures with tears of gratitude. I wanted to experience my mother in all of her glory and in her element, and that's exactly what I got.

Pure magic.
