While looking for Hispanic Heritage Wines to feature in September, we were blown away by the passion and dedication of winemaker Sebastian Zuccardi’s work to express the terroir of Argentina through wine. Come and taste what Wine Spectator describes as “Deeply aromatic, with blood orange and plumeria notes and a palate of spiced plum and sour cherry, plus a pleasant wave of minerally acidity chiming in and carrying the flavors on to the finish.”
At Curio the Concreto Malbec is available by the glass, half glass, or by the one ounce taste. Then take home a bottle.

Who doesn’t love a good staff pick? This time, Assistant Tasting Room Coordinator (and Johnny's son) Jacob is up! 🎉 His latest favorite at Curio is the 2021 Trapiche Tesoro Chardonnay from Mendoza, Argentina. Jacob's all about this one, saying, "This excellent Chardonnay is aged in oak for nine months to give it the perfect smooth finish without making it too buttery or soft on the mouth. It also has notes of lemon curd and tropical fruit that helps it pair excellently with fish or poultry dishes. I have personally enjoyed it with salmon myself."

Enjoyed an incredibly expansive and enriching wine tasting from Sebastian Zuccardi today. We were blown away by Zuccardi’s dedication to showcasing terroir in their winemaking. Many of these wines “‘made time stop” for us when we experienced them. Can’t wait to bring some of these to Fredericksburg!

This wine offers aromas of spicy black fruit, subtle chocolate hints, and a palate of ripe blackberry, with soft tannins and a slightly savory finish.
