A place you may not know about.... Tonight's sunset from behind Lafayette Blvd overlooking The Oberle Academy off Willis, across the street from National Cemetery. This school started in the early 90's to serve those displaced from the workforce needing help, including training, to find job placement. Gladys Oberle was the school's first teacher. Today this day school helps local youth within the greater Fredericksburg area with individualized education programs with consideration for their passions.. The school has technical education programs for students to learn culinary, woodworking, cosmetology and other programs in the works such as electrical , HVAC and welding which will be in partnership with Germanna Community College. Another amazing community based organization.
