Just want to let everyone know that taking the run is paying off. Took out Anthony and his friends and limited out 3 times returning all extras over there limit. Just want to let everyone know that I finished making the Seaspray as covid 19 safe as possible. It looks like they will be letting us fish real soon . I think defiantly by June 1st. By using the six feet social distancing rule we can legal take 12 passengers. So we now will resume booking dates for fishing trips. Reservations a must. Call captain Scott @631 668 5800 .

I know it's a little late but I would like to wish everyone a Happy New Year. So this year we are going to change it up a little. The Seaspray will be sailing out of marina's where the fish are biting with less travel time. Here's my thoughts and please reply on this page on your thoughts. The schedule will be as follows. April 10th through April 30th out of Montauk for spring cod , pollack, Ling cod. May 2nd through May 29th we will be sailing out of a marina out of Jamesport for jumbo Porgies. June 1st till November 15 out of Montauk and finally November 17 through December out of Brielle N.J.. for Big Black fish marina to be named. We have been hitting the Blackfish ground's pretty hard and have been very successful. We will be running an open boat by reservations this Friday and Saturday for Blackfish. We will be leaving the dock at 6 a.m. and returning at 3 p.m. we have four spots left for Friday and six spots left for Saturday price is $200 per person. I've been so busy fishing I have not had time to put on a post. Sorry about that but here is a post of all the past trips for August. I am sending this message out to all captains that are enlisted in a random drug program as I am enrolling and giving memberships to Captain's in Montauk. A number of random drug tests have been coming back positive for THC with people taking CBD oil for pain and other ailments. If you are active captain and are using this for pain or other ailments I'm warning you now stop taking it immediately. The companies that are making it are telling everybody that is THC free. There are a lot of companies out there where you will test positive and you will lose your captain's license. If you have been taking it it will take 30 days to get out of your system just keep that in mind. Please share this post so all captains will be warned.

Good morning from Montauk I posted a job opening a few weeks ago for full-time mate hired somebody and did not work out .. So I am posting once again looking for a full-time mate to work on it multi-passenger boat with an average of 8 to 15 passengers per trip I know people did call me after the job was filled but if you were still interested please call Captain Scott at 516-523-3299. So we move on from the sharking grounds to the fluking and sea bass fishing grounds and I can tell you that the fluke have finally arrived in Montauk and all very hungry. We caught our limit of fluke and then for a bonus we caught a limit of a sea bass up to 5 lb. The Largest fluke of the day was 8 pounds.
