Monument Crisis Center is a community-based non-profit family resource center for Central and East Contra Costa County, offering nutritious food, essential resources and referrals to help families and individuals become stable and secure.

π Our annual Patient Satisfactions period has wrapped up, and we're thrilled to announce some exciting news from our Berlin, VT treatment center! With a remarkable 65% completion rate, the team aimed to encourage participation by offering a special drawing. BAART Programs Norwood in Sacramento, CA is making some big waves - raising awareness and providing crucial support in the community. π Last week, Justen H. and another member of the team participated in the 8th Bi-Annual Pathways to Progress Fair, offering services like job placement, recovery, healthcare and more for those re-entering society. They also participated in the Sacramento Mini Stand Down event, where they shared information on medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and provided essential overdose prevention supplies, including fentanyl test strips and Narcan, to our service men and women experiencing homelessness. At BAART Programs in Visalia, CA, we celebrated Easter with a twist - a month-long egg hunt that brought smiles, surprises, and a sense of togetherness to our patients. Hidden throughout the treatment center, eggs filled with BAART Bucks, sweet treats, and raffle tickets awaited discovery, adding an extra layer of excitement to our community's day. And the fun didn't stop there! Last Friday, the Easter Bunny made a special appearance, bringing not only cheer but also the chance to win one of four beautifully assembled Easter baskets. The celebration was made complete with a delicious BBQ, featuring bacon-wrapped hot dogs, chips, cookies, and drinks, ensuring a memorable day for everyone involved. Last month, our very own Patient Navigator, Justen Hedden, had the opportunity of presenting to the Sacramento Area Reentry Collaborative (SARC) about opioid use and the supportive pathways offered by BAART Programs. SARC, a vital network of over 800 individuals and 100 providers, is dedicated to easing the transition for those returning home from incarceration in Sacramento and its surrounding areas. We're proud to contribute to their mission by sharing knowledge and resources on tackling opioid use, fostering a supportive community for reentry. π
