As with all surgery, aftercare treatments are
essential after all types of liposuction.

liposuction, liposculpture, abdominoplasty, vaser,smart lipo, bodytite, cellutite, cellfina and cellulaze. Post op care is essential to your recovery even if your procedure is performed by a very skilled surgeon. Fluid retention, scar tissue formation, pain, and swelling always follow any intrusive procedure.

The following side effects typically occur:

Loose skin
Excessive skin hardening
Scar tissue formation / bumps
Lumps of fat left unremoved
Skin adhesion onto the underlying tissue,
which leads to movement restriction.

How Many Lymphatic Drainage Massage Do I need after Plastic Surgery???

We recommend at least 10 sessions, and coming 3 times a week for the best results. ✨

What's a seroma?

A seroma is a collection of fluid that builds up under the surface of your skin. Seromas may develop after a surgical procedure, most often at the site of the surgical incision or where tissue was removed. The fluid, called serum, doesn't always build up right away. The swelling and fluid may start collecting several weeks after surgery.

LIPOSUCTION AND ITCHY SKIN: WHY DOES IT HAPPEN AND WHAT CAN I DO ?

Many liposuction patients will experience itchiness after their procedure. I would like you to consider the causes of this irritation and what patients can do to minimize the itchiness after liposuction.

Is Itchiness Common after Liposuction?

Yes, itchiness is a common side effect of liposuction that many patients experience. It usually happens about two weeks after the procedure is performed as your initial side effects of discomfort, bruising, and swelling have dissipated.

Why Does My Skin Itch?

Around the two-week mark, your nerves begin to wake up again. You’ve healed from surgery and the nerves are feeling extra sensitive, resulting in irritation and itchiness. It can be annoying but rest assured that this is another sign you are successfully healing from surgery.
