Participating in the greater community outside our doors is an important step in the growth of individuals. It allows us to connect with others and be a witness of God’s greatness in our lives. Here's a shot from our recent neighborhood party, in conjunction with the Lowell CDC and On Ramps Community Church. So much fun!

Throwback to a busted pipe earlier this summer. It turned out to be no big deal - it was quickly and easily fixed, and the green space got a little extra watering that day. We're so thankful for God always looking out for us!

God never lies and He always keeps His promises!

Teaching healthy eating habits is one of the ways that we help the ladies at Evangel Home to grow. And it's yummy, too!

Sometimes even simple things in life can be big blessings. Never underestimate the powerful gift of a smile, a kind word, or a small gift of beauty.

Every month, so many of you drop by with donated items that are used to care for ladies. Thank you to all of you who participate in this! One recent large donation allowed us to get creative & build a slide ramp out of the boxes to make it easier to get all the other boxes to the bottom of the stairs. Roslyn was the “catcher” at the bottom and made it a cinch to put it all away.

Forgiveness isn't always easy, but with Jesus' help, it's very possible. And God is the ultimate forgiver!

Recently, Jackie, our Community Coordinator, helped put together a neighborhood party in conjunction with the Lowell CDC and On Ramps Community Church on the front lawn of our learning center. It was a great time of connection with others who live and worship nearby!

It's a simple statement, but an important one to carry you into this weekend. God really does love you!

Earlier this summer, the awesome ladies of Easton Presbyterian worked hard to make new naptime bedding for our new child care center. Each child will be blessed with cozy bedding handmade with love! We're so appreciative!

Even if your life isn't feeling very peaceful right now, you can still be at peace in your spirit, because Jesus gave each one of us His peace!

Empty closets (or other spaces) represent potential. An empty closet means there's storage space for food or other supplies that have been given to Evangel Home. An empty closet means there's space for a woman to start collecting and organizing her own belongings, and taking pride in her personal victories and independence. Empty spaces represent potential love, growth, and community.
