It’s so funny how as both stylist AND clients, we see a shift in adoration for the little things…Jen wanted a balance of wispies in the back, while maintaining a sense of structure.

It’s these little types of details that I feel truly deliver a custom cut. Whether it’s focus on the front hairline, the back, the sideburns, fringe, or little intentional disconnections that make their natural movement pop.

Any skincare or waxing services will take place riiight next door at Fridays & Saturdays.

This is Amerikkka. This is trash humans choosing their gun obsession, their mockery of mental health, their ignorance and ego over the miracle of human lives. Over the joys what living in harmony is like. Us “Gays” have no damn agenda other than to SIMPLY LIVE & LOVE PEACEFULLY….but we’re reaching a boiling point. I don’t have kind words this time. Just anger. No reflection…just disgust.

I’ve cut ties with people, especially blood relatives who are pro-gun laws and bs alike…because one day it could easily be us on the news report and “thoughts & prayers” mean nothing. Just an effort to “acknowledge” and move on guilt free to the next damn post. It’s time for action.

If you’re really an ally…prove it and start speaking up for those voices that were taken too soon. Nobody deserves to die die to their color, race, orientation or legal status.

Peep the second slide to see the difference between her previous haircut 1 year ago and the haircut we did today! I’m so excited I was really able to elevate her cut & curls! 💫

I want convey how important it is to care for your scalp the same way you care for your face & body. Proper cleansing, exfoliation and moisture is imperative for a healthy scalp and hair!

I like to blame it on my Esti background, but you can’t deny the impact in these before & after photos!
Plus…the treatment feels sooo good to receive! 🧖🏽‍♀️

Yesenia allowed me to photograph her hair during her first appt with me in 10/3, and the curl formation was soo beautiful, I couldn’t stop gawking. She soaked up every tip I gave her and stayed tried & true to using until her next appt exactly a month and a day after (11/3), where we performed a Scalp Cleansing Ceremony. I think her curls spoke LOUD & CLEAR about the gravity defying impact that made!

Despite switching to cleaner and healthier hair care that wouldn’t leave icky sticky residue, there are a lot of heavy minerals found in our water, so it was nice to add that treatment to provide us with a clean slate. I’m fact, I recommend it every 4-6 months, that way we can really prep the hair and ensure that it’ll absorb all of these new yummy ingredients to its full potential. It’s a beautiful & aromatic was to reset that crown in more ways than one. 😉
