We were the only rest stop on the Climb to Kaiser Ride with a “pool”! Gotta admire those gals & guys that rode 155 miles and over 15,000 feet of climbing and oh yeah, it was around 105F on the Valley floor and snow still up near Kaiser. Our SAG & volunteers, including the ham radio operators are the best. Thanks to the courteous drivers for looking out for the cyclists, (those not so courteous are not representative of foothill-mountain folk. Some who came from out of town. Like Riverside or the SF Bay Area. I met 2 fellows who were living in Palo Alto, but recently moved there from France. Some gals originally from Columbia.
