🌟 Inspirational Story Alert 🌟
This morning, Maria, Martha, and Griselda visited our office with a heartwarming surprise to express their gratitude from the invite by our CEO to attend our Gala event. They brought us their delicious Chamoy Candy Apple and Fruit Cup, crafted with tajin, chamoy, and lime, as a token of appreciation for helping them launch their mobile food cart businesses.
Maria de Leon, once a Mobile Food Vendor in Fresno, CA, embarked on her journey with us in 2021. Martha Pantzo, the creative mind behind Fruta Fresca’s freshly cut fruit and edible arrangements, has been part of our community for a year. Griselda Silva Ortiz, owner of Tamales y Antojitos la Promesa, joined us as a Latinapreneur Alumni and grant recipient in Fall ‘21, where we assisted her with business plans and the necessary licenses and permits.
Their visit was inspired by world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez’s journey from a mobile food vendor in Mexico to a world-renowned boxer. They were moved by his perseverance through challenges, including sweltering weather, to achieve his dreams. In recognition of their resilience and courage, we presented Maria, Martha, and Griselda with autographed gloves by world champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, a symbol of their unwavering commitment to their dreams and the support we offer our community.
We are immensely proud of Maria, Martha, and Griselda’s achievements, and we are honored to be part of their inspiring stories of determination and success. Here’s to many more milestones and uplifting tales in the future!
