This sentiment hanging on the wall at cafevanness would make a pretty good motto for this old nursery. Come on out and enjoy some great food, music, beverages and community spirit with us this weekend. We’ll miss you if you don’t.
We all need an excuse to relax from time to time. Let Gazebo Gardens be your excuse this weekend. Join your friends and neighbors under the misters in the beer garden for some great music, food, beverages and good vibes.

This Hibiscus flower is HUGE and so are the good times at Gazebo Gardens this weekend! Now that the weather is cooperating, we’re back in a big way with the best local food, music and friendly vibes….and don’t forget our monthly brunch this Sunday from 10-1.
Welp. We were really hoping for a day under 110°, but here we are. The nursery will close at 2 o’clock again today, and the beer garden will be canceled. On the brighter side, looks like we will be cooling down for next week, so we should be able to get back to the regularly scheduled festivities. As always, sincere thanks for all the love and support.
We do not like this heat even one little bit. As a reminder, in the interest of the health and safety of our coworkers and patrons, we’ve committed to closing at 2:00 on days when the forecast is 110° or over. In that spirit, we’ve called off the beer garden event tonight and tomorrow night, and will be watching Saturday closely. We sure miss you all and hope to get back to normal ASAP.
Just a quick reminder, the nursery will close at 2:00 and the beer garden will be dark this weekend due to temperatures over 110°. Hopefully, next weekend will be less of a furnace and we will be able to return to the regularly scheduled festivities.
**LONG POST** For the next few weeks, due to the nearly unprecedented predicted heatwave and in the interest of the safety and well-being of our coworkers and patrons, Gazebo Gardens will close at 2pm on days when the National Weather Service predicts 110 degrees and higher. This will include the beer garden… similar to a rain out in the winter. Again, this only only applies to days over 110 degrees. We hate to do it, but we believe it’s the right thing under the circumstances. As always, thank you so much for your support and understanding.
Everybody’s talking about wanting to be cool. You know what’s cool? Like really cool? Hanging out in a 102-year-old nursery, listening to the world‘s greatest music with some amazing local food and ice cold beverages. At least we think that’s pretty cool.
This just in: Ivan has given Gazebo Gardens his unconditional stamp of approval! So we’ve got that going for us. The other thing we’ve got going for us this weekend is an amazing lineup of Fresno’s best food trucks and local music. Come on out and spend some time with us if you’re in the neighborhood.
