The SR 99 Phillip S. Raine Rest Area will re-open Monday, December 11.
The CH Warlow Rest Area will be closed long-term starting Tuesday, December 12 for wastewater, electrical and infrastructure upgrades. The project is expected to be complete December 2024.

State Route 190 Emergency Closure Weekly Update
Operations for the week of December 11:
• Schedule change for drilling operations: In order to accommodate daytime traffic and allow for extended work hours, drilling operations will shift to overnight hours starting the night of Sunday, December 10, and will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. every night, Sunday night through Friday night every week through the end of the operation.
o During overnight hours, the drilling rig will be moved from the roadway to allow traffic through State Route 190 at or near 11:00 p.m. and operations will resume at or near midnight. (Note: the drilling setup will be moved to accommodate emergency vehicles as necessary.)
o No drilling work will happen on Saturday night/Sunday morning.
o This operation is scheduled to be completed late January 2024.
• Finalize slope repairs between the Powerhouse and Pierpoint.
• Continued major damage repairs between Cedar Slope and Quaking Aspen.
• Finalize culvert installation at McIntyre Creek.
FRESNO COUNTY: The latest update to the emergency repair work being done on State Route 180 between Hume Lake and Kings Canyon National Park.

Operations for the week of December 4:

FRESNO: Caltrans was honored to be a part of today's ribbon cutting ceremony for the new Veterans Boulevard overpass.
The city of Fresno held the event this morning in northwest Fresno.
City officials say the new overpass will help improve commute times for drivers on the west side of town.
Today's event was attended by city, state and federal officials.
The new interchange will officially open to traffic Tuesday morning.

Operations for the week of November 20:
· Thanksgiving week work schedule: Drilling operations will be halted over Thanksgiving weekend, there are no planned extended delays from Thursday, November 23, through Sunday, November 26.
· Continued retaining wall construction 1.25 miles east of the Tule River Powerhouse.
o Retaining wall construction will include drilling operations, commuters should expect delays of up to 45 minutes during working hours (6:00 am to 6:00pm, Monday through Saturday).
o This operation is expected to be completed late January 2024.
· Finalize drapery system between the Tule River Powerhouse and Pierpoint.
· Continued major damage repairs between Cedar Slope and Quaking Aspen.
· Finalize installation of culvert at Nelson Creek.
· Continued culvert installation at McIntyre Creek.

State Route 155 Emergency Project Update
• An additional slope repair has been identified just east of Alta Sierra.
o Work is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 13, at 7:00 a.m.
o This operation is expected to last approximately 2 weeks.
o One lane will remain open to traffic during this operation utilizing a flagging crew through the area.
KERN COUNTY: STATE ROUTE 46 WIDENING PROJECT UPDATE
Current project status:
· State Route 46 construction and paving operations:
o 2.1 miles of paving have been completed from the eastern end of the closure heading west.
o There are approximately 1.4 miles of paving remaining.
· State Route 46 is scheduled to reopen to traffic on Wednesday, November 22.
