VBS DAY 3!!!

Today, we explored the peace of God from Philippians 4:4–9. The big idea was that God loves spending time with you. It was amazing to see the kids learn about the importance of spending time with God and experiencing His peace in their lives!

Today was Day 1 of VBS and it was such a success!

The kids had an amazing time learning about how God shows us to love others! They discovered how to embody the Fruit of the Spirit: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

Plus, they learned from 2 Timothy 3:16 that all Scripture is God-breathed and useful for teaching us how to live righteously. This verse is our memory scripture for all four days, and the kids are excited to memorize it!

What an amazing Sunday service today! We reflected on three powerful truths from Acts 2:42-44:

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common.”

- Discipleship and community cannot be separated.
- The process cannot be done alone.
- Let’s humble ourselves to learn from each other through vulnerability.

We need community! We need to be relational and not focus on individualism! This week, reach out to someone in our community and share a meal, a prayer, or a conversation. Let’s grow together in faith and love IN CHRIST!
