It is of a boy named Pich Theara and he is seen riding a bicycle at full speed in the MTB-2020 Cycling Program which took place in the capital city of Phnom Penh.

It was discovered that Theara lived with his parents. His father is a construction worker and his mother has a physical ailment. Out of five siblings, he is the youngest sibling.

Out of love for cycles and the sport, the boy had taken part in the competition without any hesitation.

He managed to win the title and this made me wonder, you could have the best gear in the world but without determination and passion you would never achieve what you seek, no proper kit, footwear or safetygear nor a branded bicycle but his passion drove him to victory.

Couple of openings left for trail side repair class 5:30-8 at Wayzata West Middle school tomorrow (6/29). Highlights of class. No experience needed. You don’t even need to bring a bike.
- wheels: tube replacement, patching, basic truing(straightening), and tire removal.
- shifting: cable tension and how to fix those grinding gears
- brake adjustments: disc and v-brake
- how to take wheels off
- time for questions and working on your bike issues.

Bike class for Beginner and beginner/intermediate understanding of bicycle maintenance and repair. Bring your broken down bike and/or smooth riding racing bike. 2.5hrs of hands on learning for all!

On the 4th day (last day of camp) the kids replaced all the cables, housing, grips, and chain. As well as trued the wheels. A little paint to dress it up didn’t hurt!

Classes this week:

Minnetonka Community Center Thursday evening and Saturday morning.

Eden Prairie Community Center this Saturday afternoon/evening.

Full class last night even during the storm! Kids and Adults learning while storms rolled through. Some chose to watch from the hallway:)
