What steps do you take to manage organizational change during times of upheaval? ✏️

Recognize the Storm ⛈️ for what it is and remain Cool 😎, Calm 🧘‍♀️, and Collective. Trying to solve problems in frustration or blame mode will only create a bigger hole 🕳️ to fill ‼️

1. Assemble a Tiger 🐅 Team to rapidly determine the root of the problem, the necessity for change and how the change will be rolled out to the team. Establish S.M.A.R.T. goals and pursue the recognized problem statement aggressively with your most experienced team members.

DO NOT overcomplicate the problem when it is discovered. Isolate, validate and determine the best course of actions needed to resolve the issue. Assign the actions to the RIGHT team members. KEEP IT SIMPLE! Planned, deliberate, and persistent ex*****on will prevail. Give yourself a timeline and remain accountable ✅. Ex*****on is KING 👑. Don’t get STUCK 🤯in planning. 1/3 of time planning and 2/3 of time executing.

‼️ Don’t implement a MASS change without TESTING the change first. Use Napolean’s Corporal method to reinforce KEEPING IT SIMPLE.

2. Establish a training plan 📝 and assign each Tiger 🐅 Team member training responsibilities to get everyone else trained.

3. Conduct After Action Reviews 👀weekly or as necessary to see how change has been embraced by the team and if it is moving the company or department back in the right direction.

4. Create a feedback 🔄 mechanism for all team members to report recommendations of changes needed, best practices or new issues/opportunities that have arisen.

Change is inevitable and problems are guaranteed. Embrace every issue as an opportunity. If you do what is HARD 🏋️‍♀️ today, tomorrow it will be simple 💪.
