The southbound Panther Creek Pkwy. and Eldorado Pkwy. entrance ramps

August 27-28 (9 p.m. to 5 a.m.)
All lanes of southbound DNT from Eldorado Pkwy. to Cotton Gin Rd.
The southbound Main St. and Cotton Gin Rd. exit ramps

Detour: Drivers will take the Eldorado Pkwy. exit ramp and continue south on Dallas Pkwy. (the DNT frontage road). Drivers can re-enter the DNT from the Cotton Gin Rd. entrance ramp.

Message boards will be placed nearby to alert drivers of the closure.

All closures are subject to weather conditions and will be postponed, if necessary. Please use caution in the construction area.

🚀 Frisco ISD has a volunteer opportunity to highlight. Frisco ISD offers Business Incubator startup curriculum to 10th-12th graders at five high schools – Centennial HS, Emerson HS, Frisco HS, Heritage HS, and Lone Star HS.

☕️You are invited to attend a volunteer rally breakfast on August 27th to learn more about getting involved with Frisco ISD's Business Incubator. You can choose which school and work with the teacher to figure out the best time to volunteer. Help is needed in several areas, including legal, finance, marketing, technology, and more.

The regular August meeting of the Frisco Independent School District Board of Trustees will be tonight, Monday, Aug. 19.
• The public portion of the meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m.
• Watch a livestream of the meeting at friscoisdtx.swagit.com/live.
Bond election: The Board will decide whether to hold an election this November to fund renovations to aging campuses and purchase new technology and fine arts and athletics equipment. The bond program is designed to meet district needs without increasing the debt service tax rate.

Tax ratification election: The Board will consider raising the general fund tax rate by $0.0294, which would increase the average homeowner’s annual tax bill by $158. If approved by voters, this increase would generate $11.5 million in net revenue for Frisco ISD.

Tax rate: The Board will consider and act on a possible tax rate change.

It’s well known that teachers across the country pay for extra classroom supplies out of their own pocket.
• The Board will consider a resolution to provide $250 stipends for classroom and teaching supplies to help ease this burden.
