The golden handcuffs are starting to come off. It was just inevitable that the strength of the handcuffs would weaken over time and as the mortgage rates decline. The accumulating demographic life changes will force people to move. Marriage, divorce, new family member, retirement, new job, new school, new income, and death are some of these reasons.

The total listings on the market are up 18%. Home sales have yet to turn higher. But the upper-end market is moving because it does have more inventory.
