After a tough weekend of wrestling, 2 more Coyotes earn a place on the State wall in the mat room!! Sr. Kaila Castro-6th, and Soph. Londyn Jefferson 3rd. Go Coyotes!!

Great weekend for the Coyote Wrestling program!! 9 Coyotes competed at regionals, and 7 are going to State!! Qualifiers are Kaila Castro-3rd, Londyn Jefferson-2nd, Natalie Venable-3rd, Kai McDermott-2nd, Carter Webster-2nd, Mateo Gutierrez-2nd, and Daniel Jafari-2nd. Go Coyotes!!

What a weekend!! Thank you to all the parents, coaches, and teams that came to support, compete, and work the 13th Annual Coyote Classic!! 3 Lady Coyotes took 1st place and the Coyote Boys are back to back to back Varsity Champs!! Go Coyotes!!

Great weekend for the Coyotes at The Trojan Classic. Both girls place: Jefferson-2nd, Castro-5th!! 60 teams, a mix of tough 5A/6A squads, and the Coyotes place 3rd as team and bring home a trophy!! Individual placers: Gutierrez-2nd, McDermott-2nd, Nolan-4th, Williams-5th. Go Coyotes!!

Took two Lady Coyotes to the Arlington Lamar Inv. And came home with two Gold Medals!! Londyn Jefferson @152, Kaila Castro @120

Huge milestone this weekend. Mateo Gutierrez surpassed 100 wins!!! He then capped off the weekend by winning 157Lb title and MOW at the always tough Santa Slam tournament at Coppell High School. Way to go Mateo!!

Great day for the Coyotes at War Games!! 3rd place team finish for the boys and a 1st and 3rd place individual placement in the girls side. Go Coyotes!!

What a weekend!! 5 Coyotes made the trip to state and all wrestled hard. Cortilius Vann became the first 3X State placer in Heritage history placing 3rd. Mateo Gutierrez-Lazo wrestled back after a tough first round loss to take 3rd as well. Of those who qualified, we say goodbye to Cortilius Vann and Bakari Kyiamah. Natalie Venable, Kai Mcdermott, and Mateo will return for another State Run next year. Go Coyotes!!

Heritage Wrestling continuing to rise. Regional 5th place Boys team finish (highest ever), 4 boys qualify for state with one 4th, two 2nd, and 1st. 175-Vann is MOW. I’m the girls side 152-6th, and 185-3rd. Go Coyotes!!

After a tough day of wrestling, the Heritage Coyotes Boys are District Runner-Ups. On the Girls side we only entered two and both are headed to Regionals. Placers are as follows: 113-Bambico/5th 126-Mcdermott/2nd, 144-Jafari/4th, 150-Simmons/6th, 157-Mateo/2nd, 175-Vann/1st MOW, 215-Kyiamah/2nd, HVY-Taylor/1st. Great day at Santa Slam!! Tough mix of 5A/6A teams and the always tough Seneca, MO. Coyotes finish 2nd as a team and take home some hardware!!

After an incredible weekend. Heritage has it’s second Boys State Runner-Up in school history and it’s first Boys State Champion!! Couldn’t be more proud of Cortilius Vann and Alex Zavala for all their hard work and dedication this season!!! Go Coyotes!!
