Be safe, and make smart decisions. It appears to be critical that we all avoid large gatherings and widespread travel, but do not let that prohibit you from supporting your local community.

Businesses of all types, especially locally and/or family-owned ones, will not survive if we do not continue to support them. They cannot go for weeks or months without you as their customer. This is not about me, or my little record shop, it's about those individuals and families who have their entire livelihoods tied to their businesses. They need us all now more than ever.

Our collective health is the #1 priority. But it does not have to come at the cost of our local community and economy. There can be a balance. We can remain healthy and still help these businesses weather this storm. Just be smart and make the right choices. If we all hide inside our homes and don't show our support the truly "local' business in your neighborhood will be gone by the time this all passes. Restaurants, bars, shops, boutiques, etc.

Do not let that happen.

Well after a LONG absence on social media, I’m back, recharged and ready to take on 2020! Here’s my recipe for the green drink everyone has been messaging me about to help the health of your skin, which in turn, helps the appearance of your skin! Happy Blending!
Antioxidant Green Detox Drink recipe:
-8oz aloe vera juice
-handful of baby spinach
-3 or 4 stalks of kale (spines removed)
-juice of half a lime
-half of a banana -handful of blueberries
-peeled & chopped turmeric root (about the size of a thumb 😂
* I try to use as much organic as I can
Blend all together in a Nutribullet type blender, and drink immediately (bc it’ll start to naturally separate)
You can really use any greens or high antioxidant fruit, and I also put 1 Tbs of organic Apple Cider Vinegar because I know my body needs it. It will change the flavor-profile of the drink, so try it without the ACV first and slowly add it in it if you want!
-the best absorption will be on an empty stomach in the morning❤️

Did you know that Estheticians, with the extensive knowledge of non-scarring extractions, can work wonders? Going to a dermatologist should always be on your regular schedule, but the protocol for lesions like these would have probably included a scalpel or freezing off with nitrogen! Both of which can lead to some very apparent scars, especially on this gorgeous, melanin-blessed hard-working mama! Skin with higher amounts of melanin run a great risk of hypo-pigmented scars, and that’s not something she was willing to take a risk on, especially with her delicate eye tissue! 😂
