Congratulations Frisco Fire Department on a job well done. These accreditations don't come easy and are a result of the hard work of the entire department from top to bottom, and show the commitment Frisco has to our First Responders.

Take some time to read the accreditation link and all it entails, it's very informative

Congratulations to the Frisco Fire Department for receiving reaccreditation today from the Commission on Fire Accreditation International (CFAI)! Frisco residents are among only 13% of the U.S. population protected by a CFAI-accredited agency.

According to CFAI, accredited agencies are described as being community-focused, data-driven, outcome-focused, strategic-minded, well organized, properly equipped, and properly staffed and trained.

CFAI accreditation is valid for five years. The Frisco Fire Department first received accreditation in 2018. Learn more about the accreditation process at https://www.cpse.org/accreditation/

The first Roll with Council of 2023 is in the books. Great group of about 20 people that rolled down the Taychus Trail.

These are easy rides for the whole family and we'll show you some areas of the city you may not have seen before. Watch for some special routes and some completely new ones later this year.

Thanks go to Frisco Police Department and Frisco Fire Department for rolling with us and helping with traffic and safety.

Frisco Police Department, Frisco Fire Department and Frisco Independent School District will be conducting training at Wakeland and Heritage High Schools on Wednesday. Please see the below from FISD for additional information.

Frisco ISD Parents,

The Frisco police and fire departments will conduct an emergency training in collaboration with Frisco ISD this Wednesday, June 8. This will occur at Wakeland and Heritage high schools.

This event is part of our ongoing, collaborative efforts to help prepare our schools for emergency situations, and FISD has been planning the training in conjunction with Frisco PD and FD for more than a year. As a result, there will be an increased presence of first responders and emergency vehicles at the campuses. We emphasize, this is not an actual emergency.

Access to both campuses will be highly restricted during this time; we ask community members to please refrain from congregating around the high schools and to avoid these general areas during the day on Wednesday if possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

This was an incredible park. Felt much larger than it was because of a great layout. Absolutely stunning and got lots of ideas for Grand Park.

Also, Congrats to Tammy Meinershagen on being official!

Mayor Pro Tem Bill Woodard Endorses Dustin Paschal for FISD 04/14/2022

Frisco Friends and Neighbors,

In a couple of weeks you'll be asked to elect three school board trustees for FISD. I believe Dustin Paschal for FISD is the right person for the job and ask that you join Laura Woodard and in supporting him. You can read more about why I support Dustin Paschal below.

Mayor Pro Tem Bill Woodard Endorses Dustin Paschal for FISD If you've been around City Hall enough, you'll hear a constant refrain about the partnership between the City of Frisco and Frisco ISD.
