Hello! My name is Courtney Harris, and I am very excited to be joining the Griffin Gators team this upcoming school year as the ILA/SS IC! I have served in education for 21 years with 18 of those years spent teaching Social Studies and English Language Arts in various districts including Frisco ISD. I was a Social Studies IC when I was in Frisco, and for the last 3 years I have been a Middle School Instructional Support Specialist in another district. When I'm not working, I love to read, watch all the shows, walk my dog, and hang out with my husband and kids. ​I am so happy to be coming home to Frisco ISD, and I'm even more excited to join everyone at Griffin!

Hi there! My name is Lauren Faddis and I have been an elementary SLC teacher for the past 4 years in Frisco. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2020 with my Bachelor's degree in elementary education and my certification in special education. In my free time, I love watching hockey games (Go Stars!) and working on jigsaw puzzles.

Algebra programmed their calculators to play different songs using sound frequencies. Be sure and check out the video!

7th grade GT is hard at work presenting their Shark Tank projects! Make some deals Gators!

Congratulations to our 8th grade Lady Gator soccer team on the 2nd place finish in the district tournament! Nice job Gators!

Congratulations to the GMS beginner band on being award Outstanding Band of the Day at their contest this past Friday. Way to go Gators!!

Our Gator band performed last night for their spring concert and it was a beautiful concert. We are so proud of all of our gators!

7th graders enjoyed frog dissecting day!

Our GMS Academic Pentathlon students have been studying all year and last Saturday got to show off what they know in the district competition. Special congratulations to 7th Grader Shiloh S. for placing 4th in Math! Way to go, Gators!!

Congratulations to both GMS bands on receiving straight Division 1 ratings from all 6 judges (the highest rating) and earning a Sweepstakes award at UIL!! Way to go Gator Bands!!!

My name is Stephanie Ballinger. I am your new receptionist at Griffin, and I am very excited to be here. I have 3 kiddos, Jacob, Madeline and Jackson. I have a degree and background in Finance, but realized years ago that working with children is much more rewarding. Most of our family time is spent between ballet and basketball. And yes, I'm one of the crazy sports moms at the games! I love being with my children, music, everything Christmas and I love smiling... Smiling's my favorite. I look forward to meeting and working with you all.
