Ms. Cox truly shined and stood out as the recipient of the Spring Social Studies Rockstar Award! A huge congratulations to her on this well-deserved recognition!

Our 6th grade world culture students are using , tiny programmable robots, to explore a giant map of Australia, and iPads to write the code! This hands-on activity is a fun way to learn about Australian geography and get creative with coding!

Our NMS Student Ambassadors had a GREAT time volunteering at Norris' Field Day on Friday!

Nighthawk Teachers, we can’t thank you enough for all that you do for our students. You wear so many hats and pour into our students to ensure their success. You are the glue and we thank you!!!

Our Nighthawks loved being able to spend their RISE cards at the PBIS store! We appreciate all of our Nighthawks showing Respect, Integrity, Service, and Excellence at Nelson. Also, Congratulations to our next round of principal's 100 board WINNERS!

UPDATE!!!
This Saturday we were scheduled to hold tennis tryouts for Nelson MS at Independence HS. Looking at the weather forecast for Saturday, there is a very high chance of rain. Because of this, we will be rescheduling the tryout for Monday, 4/22, from 4-7pm at Independence High School.

If the weather does not permit the tryouts on Saturday, then tryouts will be moved to Monday.
