FUN FACT....

Did you know that nunchucks, also known as nunchaku, were originally a farming tool in Okinawa, Japan? The word "nunchaku" is derived from the Okinawan language and means "twin section staff." Farmers used these versatile tools for various purposes, such as threshing grains or for planting seeds.
It wasn't until martial arts legend Bruce Lee popularized nunchucks in his movies that they became widely recognized as a weapon. Despite their intimidating image, nunchucks require skill and precision to wield effectively, showcasing the fusion of practicality and artistry in martial arts history.

Good Afternoon PMA Famiily,

We are aware of the recent developements in Collin County and Frisco ISD. With the fear of the Coronavirus threat we are taking extra measures to keep the Dojo sanitized (even more than usual) for all our students and visitors. We have increased our cleaning cycles and are treating all areas with disinfectant regularly. We've informed all Instructors of the impotance of cleaning the mats daily!!

We have stocked up on hand sanitizers, Disinfectants, cleaners, wipes, bleach and more.

As the situation changes,so will our policies, but for now the threat remains low and it is very safe to be in public and at dojo.



We do ask that all students and visitors who have a fever, symptoms of a respitory infection, or have been exposed to a person with coronavirus, Flu, or any other infectious diseases please stay home until symptoms have passed.

Classes will continue as normal and we ask you do your part by washing your hands before class, after class, showering, keeping fingernails and toenails clipped and clean, uniforms clean, and hair washed.

Please use the disinfectant wipes and hand sanitizer located all around the dojo before and after entering mats.

As long as we stay vigilant about this situation and do our part, we can all continue on with our daily routines without any disruptions. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Remember the self-defense formula TPM: Time, Place and Method of attack. The bad guy always controls this formula. This is not a sport, this is real life.

When someone is going to attack you they will generally give it away.

These are called pre-attack indicators - When they shift their weight, raise their hands, and close the distance, it’s not because they want to be your friend!
