Today, Medical City Frisco’s Dr. Eldon Hopkins performed the first robotic total knee replacement surgery with the latest addition to our facility’s fleet of orthopedic surgery robots. Our facility is the only one in North Texas with three orthopedic robot devices.

The newest state of the art device, features technology that enables real-time decision-making, increased precision and a more personalized care experience.

“This robot is the fastest processing on the market and doesn’t require CT scans before surgery, as the fast processing allows intraoperative digitization of the bones,” Hopkins said. “It’s a wonderful addition to Medical City Frisco’s robotic technology, particularly in the world of joint replacement.”
