Frisco Resale got a facelift today!
I never thought I’d find myself in such a difficult place. When I lost a family member to cancer, the funeral expenses, travel, and time off to grieve hit me hard. Already on a fixed income, it felt impossible to manage. I fell into a deep depression, unsure of how to move forward.
That’s when Frisco Family Services stepped in. Their support wasn’t just financial—it was emotional, too. They helped me get back on my feet when I didn’t know where to turn.
Today, my wife and I volunteer regularly with Frisco Family Services as our way of giving back. We know firsthand what it feels like to need help, and now we want to offer that same support to others in our community.
September is Hunger Action Month!
In June, we celebrated Hunger Awareness, and now we are urging our community members to step into action and help us PREVENT hunger.
This past year we've provided over 724,000 meals to local neighbors in crisis, and we did this with the help of people like YOU who CARE!

September is Hunger Action Month, and as the only community food pantry in Frisco, we are relying on the empathy of our community members to pitch in to help our local neighbors in need.
14% of Frisco ISD students qualify for free-reduced lunches, which means many people we may know are facing hunger.
Please consider donating food, making a financial contribution, or dropping in to volunteer.

Early Giving Starts Today for NTX Giving Day!
As we kick off North Texas Giving Day, it's important to remember that our community is made up of neighbors who are quietly fighting battles that we may not see. Whether it's the struggle to put food on the table, facing unexpected layoffs, or dealing with the rising costs of living due to inflation, these challenges are real, and they need our support.
This year, our goal is to raise $100,000 to help those in need right here in our community. Your early donation can make a significant impact and help us reach this target.
Key Dates:
Early Giving Begins: Sunday, September 1st and goes through September 19th (North Texas Giving Day)

Ms. Smith's story is a powerful reminder of resilience. After escaping domestic violence, she bravely relocated to Frisco, TX, seeking safety for herself and her child. Despite losing her job just months after starting, she refused to give up.
"Surviving wasn't just about escaping—it was about finding the courage to rebuild."
Navigating a new city, Ms. Smith found hope through Frisco Family Services, where she received crucial support to maintain her housing and rebuild her life.
Her journey shows the importance of community support in times of crisis. Today, you can make a difference for someone like Ms. Smith. https://ow.ly/X6KV50TagG1

I am Frisco
My name is Eric, and I’m a student at Frisco ISD. I love playing football, and I dream of earning a scholarship to help my mom and me get ahead. But getting here hasn’t been easy.
While a lot of my friends don’t have to worry about things like new sports gear or paying for school, that’s not the case for me. My mom works hard every day to make sure I can go to a good school and play the sport I love, but sometimes it feels like we’re just barely making it. There are nights when she’s up late trying to figure out how to pay the bills, and it’s tough knowing that she’s carrying that weight all by herself.
But we’re not alone. Thanks to Frisco Family Services, we’ve been able to get help when we needed it most. They’ve assisted us with our utility bills and made sure we have enough food from their Market. Because of them, I can keep playing football and stay focused on my schoolwork, instead of worrying about things I can’t control.
There are a lot of kids like me in Frisco—kids with big dreams and parents who are doing their best to make them come true. Sometimes, all it takes is a little help to keep those dreams alive.
By supporting Frisco Family Services, you’re not just helping families like mine; you’re making sure that kids like me have a real shot at a better future. Thank you for believing in us.
With your help, we are proud to announce that we were nominated as one of the BEST and actual voting is open until Sunday, September 1st!

We want to share a powerful story of resilience that highlights the impact of your support. When Pita's life was upended by her husband's actions, she had to navigate the challenges of single parenthood, find a full-time job, and support her daughter through college. Despite these overwhelming circumstances, Pita’s determination and our community’s support have helped her rewrite her story. Thank you for being there for families like Pita's, offering the hope and resources needed to overcome adversity and build a brighter future.
You can read more about Pita's testament here: https://conta.cc/3Qbke9Q
As inflation continues to impact our community, many of our neighbors, especially retirees on fixed incomes, are struggling to make ends meet. This could be your mother or grandmother—facing skyrocketing utility bills with limited resources.
At Frisco Family Services, we are dedicated to helping the people of Frisco and Frisco ISD stay in their homes, put food on the table, and access the resources they need to achieve self-sufficiency. But we can’t do it alone.
When you think of giving back, think of those in your community who need it most. Consider supporting Frisco Family Services, and together, we can make a difference.

What's Your Why?
We all have unique reasons for giving back. For one of our generous donors, it's about honoring her father's legacy. After Essi passed away, she wanted to continue his tradition of giving back to the community.
In his memory, she regularly donates Mrs Baird's bread to the Frisco Family Market, ensuring our shelves are stocked with fresh, delicious bread for those in need.
Her story is a beautiful reminder of the impact one person can make. What inspires you to give? Share your "why" with us in the comments below!
