I’m excited to announce our beautiful bites and bouquets event. This event will take place next month a few days after entering spring. Soft Winter Palette

Happy New Years you guys!
This has been a year for the books. A year full of excitement, reaching goals, building relationships and working on the love we share within creating arrangements.

It has also been a challenging time. With wholesalers and farmers constantly changing prices. Shortages on vases and mechanics. Covid running rampant, unsure if we were in a temporary pandemic or a short lived nightmare. Overall we should all be celebrating because we have been blessed to make it through the challenges.

With a beautiful start of a new year there are things I plan to work on. I want to be better at relationships with you guys. Delivering more unique product and even offering classes where I can teach kids and adults floristry techniques. Which the first class this year will start in March.

I would also like to show my face more so you guys can get to know me. I’ve been working on showing up mentally. Everyone thinks that when you work with flowers your life is always magical, but I am also healing, working through anxiety and the effects of what’s going on around us. And it’s not always easy to deliver, but I always show up and show out.

It’s hard to think back on the many arrangements I’ve personally created this year. It’s how my Aunt Andrea used to work and doing this on your own isn’t as easy as it looked. Especially when your eye for detail fights with your need for more floral designers.

I can talk for days. I just wanted to thank you guys for sowing into my business in 2021. I’ve met incredible people. And every chance you give Mikells Florist makes a big impact on why I continue to create beautiful designs. This year I would like to move with a purpose. Sharing my skills, helping those heal through God’s creations and becoming better for you and myself.
