CSUF PDSA

The goal and purpose of the Psychology Department Student Association is to expose undergraduate students of all majors to the entirety of psychology.

The Psychology Department Student Association (PDSA) was founded in 1973 and is the departmental club for psychology majors and minors. The purpose of PDSA is to assist all psychology students in achieving their academic goals while attending California State University, Fullerton.

Our new members who have reached the required points, will be earning a sash and returning members will be earning an honorary cord towards their graduation ceremony. Come join us to unwind and enjoy games with PDSA at the intramural field (green lawn across from the Kinesiology building by the soccer field and tennis courts). Today is also our last Graduate School workshop with Professor Perry. This will be a Graduate Q & A panel with graduate students from the MA psychology program, Counseling, and MSW programs. There will be an interview on March 25th after our social.
Applicants who are interested in being an officer must have availability on Wednesdays at 4-6pm (preferably 3-6pm if possible).
For ICC reps, the applicant must also be available on Fridays at 11am-1pm.
For PR, the applicant must include a flyer for our 3/18 meeting at 4-5pm in Gordon Hall 302 hosted by Dr. Laura Zettle-Watson, who will talk about the psychology of aging.

We hope yesterday’s psychology panel and graduation Q & A provided you guys with insights on internship preparedness, available research opportunities and benefits of C-Real, what it takes to be a peer mentor, and what to expect as an undergraduate course assistant. Professor Perry provided valuable information on when and how to prepare for graduate school. Also offered great tips on requesting those Letters of Reference. We will have more panels like this in the near future so watch out Spring 2020!
