We are looking for a mechanically minded, fast learning, and confident individual to add to our growing team of technicians. If you are looking for a meaningful role where you can make a real difference, come join our team today!
No previous experience is required but technical hands-on experience is preferred. Training for field operations and certifications will be provided.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Inspecting, testing and performing system checks in accordance with fire code.
• Identifying code and system deficiencies and preparing accurate and timely reports.
SKILLS WE ARE SEEKING:
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record.
• Punctual, on-time and ready to work.
• Comfortable speaking to the public.
• Self-Starter.
• Critical Thinking/ problem solving.
• Attention to detail, ability to take good notes and communicate with management.
PREFFERED:
• NFPA 10
• Additional Fire Certifications
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Proper hand and power tool operations and safety.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to climb ladders and work in confined and high spaces.
• Must be able to operate a motor vehicle for long periods of time.
• Must be able to stand for 2 hours.

Are you getting ready for Spring and Summer boating activities on the water? Don't forget to check your fire extinguisher. Visually check the fire extinguisher on your boat for dents, rust or other damage. Next, Check the gauge to determine if it has pressure. Finally, Check the date on your fire extinguisher. It may be time for it to be serviced or replaced. The date of manufacturing will be on the label or stamped on the bottom of the cylinder. If your extinguisher is over 6 years old, give us a call and we can help you determine if it needs to be serviced or if it needs replacing.

October 9-15 is National Fire Prevention week. It's a good reminder to check your home's fire safety devices. Check the batteries in your smoke detectors and check the gauges of your fire extinguishers. Also check the dates on your fire extinguishers . Most fire extinguishers require servicing every 6 years to insure that they are ready if needed. Disposable fire extinguishers can't be serviced but have to be replaced every 12 years.
