Founded by Army veteran Ryan Sargent and his wife Brandi, operates out of a pop-up camper converted into a vintage military-themed mobile coffee shop. And the best part? They’re located right in our parking lot! 🙌

Last week Ryan, Adam, and Nik headed out to the Links at Echo Springs to thoroughly embarrass themselves at the 13th Annual Erney Tourney. We’ll be honest, it was a pretty poor showing. 🤦‍♂️ But all the proceeds benefitted AngelWorks, an incredible organization raising awareness and funds for children diagnosed with cancer. All told, the tournament raised over $30,000 toward AngelWorks, which in addition to the sight of Adam completely whiffing the ball on multiple occasions, made for a pretty stellar afternoon!

There’s a common misconception that when working with a creative agency, all you’re paying for is the end product. The strategy, the logo, the website, etc. But what you’re also paying for is the process.

Imagine yourself walking into a restaurant.
Once inside, no one greets you at the door. Wait staff is sitting around chatting. You finally find a host who shows you to your table, but they forget your menus. Eventually you’re able to flag down a waiter to order, but you wait forever and your entreés come out before your appetizers. A little Throwback Thursday action for you all this afternoon 🙌

Made Here Co. wanted to capture the essence of 1950’s americana with their branding. Offering a full line of industrial-grade chemical products, they wanted their products to look like a modern version of something you’d see sitting on a shelf in your grandpa’s garage growing up.

One thing we preach time after time is that values are not something to define once, throw up on the wall in vinyl, then forget about. Your values should be the premier guiding principles for your organization.

⦿ You should hire and fire by them.
⦿ They should tell the world (and your employees) what you stand for.
⦿ Everything you do should be weighed against them.

Why? Because as an organization you’re inevitably going to run into tough situations that test your metal. You’ll have an employee that’s hurting company culture. You’ll have a client asking to cut corners. You’ll be tempted to ignore red flags and take projects you know aren’t a great fit. Values are what guide us in these situations. And sometimes that means laying someone off or saying “no” to an easy stack of cash.

As the great Patrick Lencioni says, “Values, when properly practiced, inflict pain.” But you know what they say: No pain, no gain. 💪

The team at LOUD Capital initially approached us asking if we could help update their website. While the site was out of date, a deeper dive into this issue made it clear that they had more than just a website problem - they had a positioning problem.

As their team grew and changed over the years, they never sat down to clearly define their magic: what they stand for, what makes them unique, how they talk about what they do, etc. If we wanted to truly solve the problem, we needed to start from the beginning.

The result was a complete reimagining of their Core, Verbal, Visual, and Digital Identities in a way that’s truly representative of their services and team. 🚀

Alec is absolutely amazing at what he does, so he needed a logo that felt high quality and representative of the level of his services.
